Luke Rockhold (AKA) came to help our INSPIRIT booth at EXPO. He was also having great time with our whole crew over the weekend especially with official INSPIRIT USA B-BOY Daniel Liechty from Las Vegas.

This was Rumina's first try to become 140lb in his long time career. But look at his shape!! He was looking very sharp in 140lb and he consider to staying in lighter weight class than he used to fight. He might have big fight coming up in end of this year...

Rumina Sato vs Ulysses "Useless" Gomez

Ulysses tried Flying Armbar on Rumina in first action like he told but Rumina could escape from it and kept him on uncomfortable half guard.
Rumina had very good control on keeping Ulysses down.
Rumina had him on Wrist Lock - Kimura - Reverse Triangle - Arm lock.
Very beautiful transition were shown by Rumina "Moon Wolf" Sato!!

UFC 100 & FAN EXPO 2	[2009/07/21 07:55:01]
Rumina had his MMA seminar at UFC FAN EXPO on JULY 11th. It was little bit too early in the morning and some people could not show up from party too hard. Caol Uno (UFC) Jens Pulver (WEC) Joe Silva (Zuffa) Sean Shelby (WEC) stopped by the seminar. Luke Rockhold from INSPIRIT USA was also helping Rumina at this seminar whole time.

INSPIRIT had a great time in UFC FAN EXPO with all our crew from JAPAN & USA. Rumina also had great time in Las Vegas wining his grappling match and hosting his seminar. Thanks for everyone who helped our booth!!

Rumina's comment for UFC FAN EXPO

I am very thankful to be invited to such a monumental event.

The UFC which started a year before my pro debut has continued to influence fighters all over the world. Of course I am one of those fighters and it was through the UFC that I learned what jiu-jitsu was and my world was forever changed. I believe it was because of the UFC that MMA has developed so rapidly around the world. I am very honored to be part of this historical milestone in the longest running MMA event in the United States.

For those who will participate in my seminar I will try to convey as much of the techniques and knowledge that I have gained in my 15 year career.

As far as my grappling match I will try to be aggressive and display the style that I can say " This is Rumina".

Lastly I would like to thank Lorenzo Fertitta Dana White and all Zuffa associates for inviting me to this event.

INSPIRIT fighter Luke Rockhold comment after his Strikeforce fight

INSPIRIT sponsored fighter Luke Rockhold impressed 1st RD submitted vicory against Cory Devela in Strikeforce Challengers 2! Luke has two straight wins with rear naked choke in 1st RD!!

gThe fight went absolutely perfect; it couldnft have gone any better than it did. I was a little surprised that I finished the fight so quickly but I have been working hard on that right hand counter and it paid off. I asked my trainers what they thought about it and they said go for it and it worked out perfect for me. Ifm going to take a little time off and relax in Las Vegas for the UFC Fan Expo and then get back into the gym hopefully getting another two fights before the end of the year.h
