Yuki Sasaki started his martial arts career with Daidojuku Karate when he was 16 years old. He has moved to Tokyo from Hokkaido and become a black belt karate fighter at Seidokan Karate, where he met with his long time friend Sanae Kikuta. Both of them started taking Shooto fight class and immediately became top ranked in the professional Shooto association and started Team Grabaka with Mr. Kikuta. He has moved his fighting field to Pancrase from Shooto in Feb 2001.
He has fought with numerous strong fighters such as Ricardo Almeida, Alex Stiebling and Rodrigo Gracie where he showed his world-class level grappling skill as well as his hi-sense boxing skill. He is one of the middleweight Japanese fighters who can compete with world-class fighters around the world. |
