Naoya Uematsu started his martial arts Career as a Judo fighter in Junior High School. He started Shooto fight when he was 16 and immediately became an undefeated champion in amateur tournament. Then defeated Caol Uno and many other great fighters in current era.
He is one of the most rounded fighters in Mixed Martial Arts field in Japan.
He has fought in professional Muetai Kickboxing fight, Jujitsu tournament as well as Sambo tournament.
He has practiced in Thailand for kickboxing and is always open to new styles of martial arts.
